I have a 'Love/Hate' relationship with Anthropologie. I love their product but hate their price point. I love their candles but hate their price point. I love their towels but hate their price point. Ya feel? And I think other consumers agree as much of their product is put on sale. So it was much to my delight the moment I spotted these coasters over the weekend at Value Village. I had been wanting these coasters for years. No joke. YEARS. However I could never pull the trigger on $8- (yes, I am that cheap to where $8- is too expensive.) But my patience (read - cheapskateness) awarded me w/a price tag of $2.99! That's a $5-saving per coaster, which means you can buy two bottles of cheap wine from Trader Joes. And lets be honest, bitches love wine. Cheers! Xo.
And on a side note: If you are willing to spend the $8-, you can find these in quite the array of beautiful colours on the Anthro website. The cream ones are so pretty!
Thrifting tip: Check it twice!
I had been thru the isle these coasters were in when I first arrived to the store & missed them. I did one more lap on my way out & that's when they caught my eye. It takes more time to do this obviously, but you never know what you might have missed on your first look or what new must have item was stocked while you were in another isle.
