Friday marked 10 months of Kev & I being together so he took me out for sushi & drinks. (You cannot beat the taste of raw scallops, you just can't.) I decided to wear my vintage Miu Miu kitten heels that I purchased from the Goodwill last year for a whopping $12. Most women in their 20's or 30's steer clear of kitten heels. Not I, friends. I took a bad stumble about 7 years ago tearing a ligament in my ankle. And despite what you may think it was not from drinking, thank you very much! These days I can only wear high heels for a short amout of time before I can hear the sweet serenade of snap-crackle-pop in my ankle. Que the kitten heel! It adds that small dose of feminity w/o me having to glue my ass to a chair for the duration of an evening. I'm slowly building an arsenal of lower heeled shoes & am very happy to add these into the mix. They are Miu Miu, after all. Xo.
